July 4th Park Gig - Big Success

11 July 2009

July 4th saw a really great time for Hucclecote residents in their local park. Despite a bit of a generator problem many many people took the opportunity to come out and enjoy some time with their families and the wider community. Our thanks extend to all those that took part and particularly the Coyote cheerleaders who formed an on stage cheering group for the band!!

Gloucester Park Gig - May 25th

26 May 2009

So despite the BBC doing their best to tell us the weather in Glos was going to be rubbish on the day; turned out to be a really good time. Supported by our friends 2tall and the fabulous rapper Dean Henry; the event; organised by Recliffe college in just a few weeks ran from 1 - 7.30pm and had a wonderful relaxed feel about it. The Redcliffe folks told some great stories; performed some amazing dance/drama routines and one guy from Denmark used magic to illustrate some Bible truths. Pictures should be up in a day or two when they are downloaded. Next gig at the moment is July 4th but we're chasing a couple of possibilities and with the album out in just a few weeks now anything could happen.

Barnwood Park Gig

19 May 2009

Well folks despite the inclemant weather there was a great turn out on the day for the Barnwood community event in the Arboretum. I'm told the burger man ran out of burgers; so it must have been decent. Unfortunately it was our turn for the heavens to open just as we got on stage so everyone ran for cover on the first strum ; but hey ho that's life. we've put a few piccies up of us playing in the rain and our friends "too tall for the radio" playing during a less rainy spot. So with our next park gig only six days away; let's hope and pray that the rain stays away and we have a great time in Gloucester park. Hope to see you there.

First park gig goes well and good weather

27 April 2009

The Park gig season has finally kicked off with the first one held in St James park tredworth Gloucester. A joint event run by the Tredworth residents association; friends of St James park; Kingfisher church; St James church ans Elim church the event seemed to us to be busier than the previous year with more groups represented and more people in the park. The B Bricks were well recieved as you can See from the testimonial below but sadly on account of being a bunch of muppets we forgot the camera so there's no pictures. Next park gig is May 16th in Barnwood Arboretum Gloucester where the B Bricks will be joined by their friends 2 tall 4 the Radio. On between 11.00am and 3.0pm we hope to see you there. The B Bricks "Thanks, Brittle Bricks for a really professional setup. Having live music really transformed the Fun Day and provided a quality focus for the event. Thank you for being so flexible, which enabled the various bands to set up and perform so smoothly. There was so much great feedback… we would definitely want to do this again!” James, Pastor of Kingfisher church
